502 Changes abound as Blair and Jo start their lives at Langley College, Natalie and Tootie are pulled apart as they move out of the kitchen, and Mrs. Garrett leaves Eastland for new horizons with help from her son, Raymond Garrett.

05.02: Gamma Gamma or Bust - September 28, 1983
Blair is nominated to pledge the Gamma Gamma sorority at Langley College and becomes friends with Boots St. Clair.

05.03: Just My Bill - October 12, 1983
Jo's in love with a new beau named William Ogden Smith IV but resentment develops when it turns out he comes from wealth.

05.04: What Price Glory? - October 19, 1983
Tootie discovers that her boyfriend, Jeff Williams, a school athlete, doesn't know how to read.

05.05: The Halloween Show - October 26, 1983
The girls have a Halloween party, but when a customer named Bigley disappears without explanation, they start to believe Mrs. Garrett murdered him.

05.06: Advance Placement - November 2, 1983
While still a junior in high school, Natalie gets an opportunity to enroll in a course at Langley College with Jo and Blair, but her ego and new popularity puts a strain on her friendships.

05.07: I'm Dancing as Fast as I Can - November 9, 1983
It's Mrs. Garrett's birthday, and Jo and Blair celebrate by taking her to a male strip club for her birthday, where Blair discovers her current beau, Cliff Winfield is one of the dancers.

05.08: Small But Dangerous - November 16, 1983
Mrs. Garrett and the girls deal with a sudden outbreak of vandalism at the store. A girl named Kelly Affinado offers to help, but Jo is suspicious of her offer.

05.09: Store Games - November 30, 1983
A rival store called Pete's Deli starts copying Edna's recipes to run her out of business, but more sinister and illegal activities are actually taking place.

05.10: The Second Time Around - December 14, 1983
Jo gets excited when it looks as though her parents might be reconciling and getting back together.

05.11: The Christmas Show - December 21, 1983
The girls prepare to go their separate ways for Christmas vacation.

05.12: The Chain Letter - December 28, 1983
Mrs. Garrett's shop is threatened with closure by the health department because of constant neglect by the girls. After she decides to fire them, they rally together to try to prove to her they will not disappoint her again.

05.13: Next Door - January 4, 1984
Mrs. Garrett and the girls befriend a little boy whose mother works all the time. When a gas leak occurs in the neighborhood, Tootie and Mrs. Garrett try to persuade the boy to leave the apartment without his mother's permission..

05.14: Crossing the Line - January 11, 1984
Tootie is at odds with Natalie over her choice to date Tootie's cousin and even confronts her own views on race, wondering if she is racist herself.

05.15: All or Nothing - January 18, 1984
Jo is elected to the Langley Board of Regents, learning quickly about the politics of the financial decisions they make and who would be hurt by them.

05.16: A Death in the Family - February 1, 1984
Natalie gets the news that her father has died from a sudden heart attack, and the girls rush to console her over the tragedy.

05.17: Big Fish/Little Fish - February 8, 1984
Mrs. Garrett and the other girls try to help Natalie still reeling from her father's death. Meanwhile, Blair realizes she is not the "big fish" she once was as Eastland Academy.

05.18: Star at Langley - February 15, 1984
Actress Heather Hunt enrolls at Langley College, and Blair becomes jealous of the attention she lavishes on Cliff.

05.19: Dream Marriage - February 22, 1984
Blair receives a marriage proposal and dreams of what her life might be like in 2000.

05.20: Mother and Daughter - February 29, 1984
Tootie's mother, Diane Ramsey comes to Peekskill to visit and realizes how big the gap in their relationship has become.

05.21: All By Herself - March 14, 1984
Geri gets a chip on her shoulder about her abilities when she asks Blair to assist her in a school fundraiser for a school for disabled children.

05.22: Seems Like Old Times - March 21, 1984
Jo's former boyfriend, Eddie Brennan, returns to rekindle their relationship while harboring a devastating secret.

05.23: Joint Custody - May 2, 1984
Mrs. Garrett's son, Raymond Garrett, returns and reveals that he and his wife, Doris Garrett, are getting a divorce, a situation that threatens the rights to the store.

05.24: The Way We Were - May 9, 1984
As the girls prepare for their summer vacations, they look back on the past, resulting in another spat between Blair and Jo which Natalie and Tootie try to repair.
