Julie Piekarski

Julie Piekarski (born Julie Ann Piekarski on January 2, 1963 in St. Louis, Missouri) is an American actress who portrayed the role of Sue Ann Weaver on "The Facts of Life."



  • Starred on "The New Mickey Mouse Club" with Lisa Whelchel.
  • Was accepted to Stanford University, but chose to attend UCLA instead. Her major was originally microbiology, but she switched to communications instead.
  • Was an entertainment reporter for KLPR-TV in St. Louis, Missouri from 1986 to 1988.
  • Was married to dentist John Probst from 1986 to 2017; has three children: Patrick, Jaquelyn and Christian
  • Turned down the role of "Debbie" in the 1981 film "Saturday the 14th" because the producers wanted her top to fall off during the bathtub scene (although no nudity was shown in the final version) in which Kari Michaelsen played the role.
