Cindy Webster was a fictional character on the TV series, "The Facts of Life." She was played by child actress Julie Anne Haddock in seventeen episodes of the series and one episode of "Diff'rent Strokes."
Bio[]
Cindy Webster was a student at Eastland Academy where she was good friends with the students Sue Ann Weaver, Molly Parker, Natalie Green and Tootie Ramsey. Among her dorm sisters was Blair Warner and Nancy Olson. Although she was on friendly terms with Blair, they did have some rivalry.
In school, Cindy was very much a tomboy and quite athletic, sometimes questioning her femininity and gender identity after Blair made some disparaging remarks about her after she elected to run for Harvest Queen at school. She actually became runner-up, winning the title "Corn Maiden of the Harvest." She was also very sports-minded, participating in baseball, tennis, hockey, and track.
In 1986, Cindy along with Sue Ann Weaver and Nancy Olson returned to Peekskill to visit Blair, Tootie and Natalie at Over Our Heads, where it was revealed that she now goes under the name Cindy Baker as a fashion model.
Trivia[]
- Even though Cindy wasn't a main character after the series' first season, she made a few appearances throughout Season 2 and Season 3.
